This particular type of cable gripper allows for direct surface attachment.  When these grippers are provided with hooks, sliding shoes, or swiveling connectors, they can be mounted to Thru-Holes, Slots, Threaded Holes, or even threaded studs. As the name suggests, in this type of gripper the cable exits smoothly from the side, which is absolutely visible while adjusting the height.
